In the early 1980s gold anodized versions were manufactured. The units available were the FM 212A Moving-Coil head amplifier, the FM 240 Thermo-Quad A Stage preamplifier, the FM 300A, FM 600A and FM 800A power amplifiers (in LI and ULI version).
Due to regular demand, they were produced for almost 10 years until they were finally superseded by the Resolution Series.
