Munich in May 2025

Thanks to those who visited and for the ravishing compliments on the music performance of the system.

While the reactions were great (not necessarily those of the "so-called" competition... :-), some may have realized that

there were moments when Manuel Huber and some of the staff appeared somewhat distracted and sombre.

That was indeed so, as the passing away of our dear friend and master in things acoustics,

Tom Hidley

the world's foremost designer of recording studios (he designed and built over 500 of the most famous ones) impacted us.

"Tom is hugely missed. Every conversation we had was a joy and an eye opener" explains Manuel.

A calm and methodical person, not enough people knew of his extraordinary capabilities

- not just in acoustics - but in a wide variety of fields.

Only now are people realizing of what incredible knowledge has slid away with his passing.

It is still difficult to find the right words but the pictures below depict just a few of his achievements in audio

Repeated requests for a short online demonstration/explanation of the ARC (Acoustic Resonance Correction) have been received.
This unique feature solves the problem of standing waves which exists in any listening environment. The ARC is included in the FM 268 C, in the FM 266-MKII-RC and in the new FM 256-RC.
Here is a brief demo.
Note: this is recorded directly into a mobile phone. Make sure to hear this on an audio system or with external speakers to capture the difference. Also note that in this demo the correction is being applied for this specific room. In other rooms different resonance corrections must be applied.

The actual improvement is , of course , much larger than a mobile phone microphone can capture. The idea here is just a short demonstration / explanation.
