    When introduced 16 years ago the FM 266 was a sensation, but not everybody understood the application or need for this unit; the FM 266 was clearly ahead of its time but news about its performance demanded increasing production. Manufactured exactly the same way for all these years it has built a massive following and today is regarded as one of the "highest standard setting" audio products.

    The new FM 266-MKII is a refinement of the original version with some additional features and fine ameliorations. Below the description of the original FM 266.
